VIF Program

Splash! brings teachers to the United States to help start, develop and teach in high quality language immersion programs. We give teachers the opportunity to build outstanding immersion programs and leave a legacy of high quality education.

Splash! teachers receive the same benefits as all VIF teachers.

Requirements
To teach in a Spanish immersion classroom, teachers must meet the following requirements:

  • Have the equivalent of a four-year bachelor’s degree in the United States
  • Be a native speaker of Spanish
  • Have experience teaching in a bilingual setting at the elementary level
  • Be able to communicate in English with colleagues and parents in the U.S.
  • Have formal training in education
  • Have a driver’s license and driving experience
  • Be eligible for an exchange visitor’s visa in the J-1 teacher category
