Splash! Language Immersion helps schools start and manage high quality language education programs that enable students to become fluent in two languages. Splash! currently offers world language immersion and two-way language immersion programs in Spanish.
Our programs offer children the opportunity to learn about the world firsthand through language immersion and cultural exchange. Splash! students study traditional curriculum all or part of the day in a second language, and they learn from highly qualified and experienced native speakers.
The Splash! team includes veteran principals and teachers who have many years of experience in language education and international education.

Splash! Services
Splash! makes it easy for schools and districts to start and manage high quality language immersion programs by offering an array of services:
Program Planning. Splash! helps districts structure programs based on the needs of their students and their communities.
Outreach to Parents. During the first years of a new program, Splash! offers help with parent outreach and student recruitment. Splash! works to both generate parent interest and ensure that parents understand how the program works.
Teacher and Teacher Trainee Recruitment. Having the right staff is critical. Splash! teachers and trainees are native Spanish speakers who have been individually screened and interviewed by VIF staff.
Teacher and Staff Training. Splash! provides training before the program begins, and ongoing training to make sure that teachers and school staff are successful.
Materials Selection and Preparation. Splash! guides schools through the process of selecting appropriate immersion materials. Splash! also provides pacing guides with suggested week-by-week vocabulary, grammar and literacy activities in the target language. These guides are aligned with the state's standard course of study.
Program Monitoring and Follow-up Support. Splash! visits the schools, conducts regular classroom observations and provides targeted feedback to ensure that the programs run smoothly.
Program Evaluation. Splash! assists with student assessments to make sure that students are meeting both language and content learning objectives.
